Here, players must score 5,000 points while racing on the cursed mountain to stay in the competition. The first challenge is called Backcountry. This is a monthly competition series where players will have to achieve certain goals to progress to the next round. They've also implemented something for the competitive players out there, the Steep World Tour Tournament.
The update includes tweaks to jumping accuracy, reduced destructiveness of G-force impact, improved Mountain View display, and, much more. Ubisoft has just released an update for Steep that makes quite a few changes that players have been asking for.
